Media Solutions

Media Solutions’ founder, Bev Singleton, was involved in media relations for many years. She started in radio with Joni Eareckson Tada as Joni began her five-minute radio program, “Joni and Friends”. As Joni’s administrative assistant in the early 1980’s she was involved in all aspects of the program and listener response – we continue to work with Joni in those areas.

A relocation took Bev to Colorado Springs where she worked for Focus on the Family and Briargate Media for six years, serving as Regional Representative and Executive Director of Briargate Media. In that capacity, she directed all radio, television and print placement of the Focus on the Family message. Then she moved out of the agency realm into the broadcast side of things with Salem Communications Corporation when she became the Network Manager for two of their music networks, Word in Music and Word in Praise.

A desire to work closely with a variety of ministries to assist them in broadcasting their message, is what gave birth to Media Solutions in 1997.

In June of 2019 the doctors found a tumor in Bev’s brain and she was diagnosed with a terminal brain cancer. The tumor was successfully removed and treatment began shortly thereafter. The Lord gave us two more years with Bev before the tumor grew back and she moved to heaven.

Alas our story is not over yet, because the Lord works in mysterious and beautiful ways! In January of 2019, just six months before her cancer diagnosis, Bev’s granddaughter, Rachel, approached her about taking over Media Solutions when she retired. As always, the Lord’s timing was perfect, and by the time Bev was no longer able to run the business, Rachel was fully up to speed and managing the day-to-day operations.

Although Bev is no longer with Media Solutions, her heart for connecting ministries with organizations who can amplify their message to the world, providing broadcast outlets with quality content, and forming relationships, is still our focus today.
